Umalusi accredits private providers of education and training as well as private assessment bodies to offer tuition and/or assessment for qualification(s) on the General and Further Education and Training Qualification Framework.

Assessment

The main functions of this unit are to set standards for assessment of qualifications on the General and Further Education and Training Qualifications Framework.

Certification & Verification

Umalusi verifies certificates issued for all the following qualifications

Qualification

Umalusi develops and manages a range of qualifications for schooling, and for the post-school system as offered in Technical and Vocational Education and Training Colleges and Adult Education and Training Centres.
